A post I made on the Rivershore forum....which is a great site to join to hang out with some nice people who focus QUIK/sensors and other potential arenas, like recent EZCH stuff.
link is here

PS... I do my thinking out loud in an online journal that even has a link for the curious.
Skip it unless you are really curious. I don't want readership really, a few people asked me to do it ( like 2)
so that is why its there.

I use it as a daybook( personal journal ) to work on this stuff and I feel free there to digress as much as time allows
looking at low yield tidbits for a nugget that might be of use. Its as much fun for me as panning for gold might be for others.
I have a great feeling when I get one...I got a nice nugget!.
My old nuggets used to be a device...we are in the QCOM MDP!
but these nuggets the past yr are much more obtuse, but are not device dependant,
or urgently time dependant. A better yield for the time spent.
I do not want readership, its a thought process for me, but that viewership which was non existent has changed:
there are a few people, from different places...all over the globe...who stop by.
Recently Russia, Asia, Brazil, etc. At a minimum it does suggest that a few people in other countries are at least aware that QUIK exists now. I will track that along
as an indicator that we just might be showing up on the radar screens of the global GEEKs? That would be pretty neat. Its small but real.
Welcome to anyone who is stopping by...the title of this blog came out of a TON of reading
a fusion of ideas from S Johnsons ideas in his great book, Where Good ideas come from.
Where he speaks of the creativity that flourishes in just tiny arenas; the coral reefs, the coffee houses, the adjacent possible.
My own belief is that QUIK is increasingly in this coffee house, on a coral reef. Many risks of this investment have been revoved for me. Those removed risks are in the entry just befor this one on CES.
QUIK has moved into UI territory, with Sensory harcode audio, and inhouse gesture........huge shift.
Machine learing- Dr. Saxe did a great talk just last wk....Machine learing has a place ON THE DEVICe- not just a cloud thing. Equally huge.
This horse is faster, the jockey more agile than last yr., but this IS NOT at all showing at the line....
Munger might like it.
