I got a book for Christmas from my son on Claude Shannon. He knew a tidbit I didn't.
He was a small town midwestern boy, who grew up not far from my home town....
Shannon was born in Petoskey, Michigan and grew up in Gaylord, Michigan.
I liked to know that he came from here and got there!
