POST SHOW REPORT
Bluetooth Asia has now firmly established itself as THE central meeting
place in the region for the Bluetooth and wider IoT community. With 3.4
billion devices set to ship this year (an increase of almost 1 billion from last
year) the event took place at a hugely exciting time for the industry and the
success being seen in the market was reflected in the stimulating
presentations and great turnout at the event!
Taking place at the Marriott City Centre in Shanghai over 350 executives
attended the event with delegates from a fantastic array of leading
companies in the market including Xiaomi, CATR, Huawei, Li Ning, Philips
and Misfit Wearables.
With 2013 witnessing some major innovations in Bluetooth Smart
technology, the event welcomed some fantastic case studies from
companies who have been using this technology in their products, giving
them the opportunity to share some of their plans and go-to-market
strategies. This made Bluetooth Asia the perfect opportunity to discover how
the market intends to monetize and maximise Bluetooth Smart.
