Multiple openings exist at various levels for Sr. Embedded Software Engineers to develop cutting edge smart phone accessories, wearable devices and Internet of Things (IoT) products. Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop algorithms for smart phone connected accessories, wearable devices and Internet of Things (IoT) products.
- Support software integration and troubleshooting of sensors and peripherals.
- Design and develop device management subsystem (including power management and fault management) for embedded products.
- Implement the communication protocol subsystem (Bluetooth LE, 802.11) on the embedded device.
- Support testing of embedded device communication protocols with onsite developers of companion iOS and Android applications.
The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to detail, excellent design, implementation and teamwork skills and a proven record of self-direction and effective time management.

Following recent successes with energy storage and security robotics initiatives, our Health, Environment and Energy Systems practice is expanding efforts in the areas of software, hardware, algorithms and intellectual property for next generation Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Sensors and mHealth products and services.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and evaluate new business opportunities through market identification and segmentation including analysis of market reports, initiation of Voice of Customer interactions, creation of market surveys and performance of other structured information gathering and analysis efforts.
- Lead development of preliminary business plans (resources, risks, opportunities) and high level product roadmaps in cooperation with domestic and Japan-based technical and sales organizations.
- Identify, articulate and effectively promote actionable opportunities, compelling value propositions and preliminary business plans to C-level audiences.
- Prepare monthly and semi-annual reports for key stakeholders.
