the best distillation?

It is a truth until proven otherwise.

1. Good ideas, as Johnson puts it, "are built out of a collection of existing parts",

QUIK has low power so when it writes an algo it can sample more sensors, more times if needed.

MCUs?  High power -they tend to shut the sensors down, down, down, ( leave the mic on for ya), but it's what they have in front of them.

Always on gives you?

 including best-in-class pedometer accuracy

expect QUIK to follow this over and over and over for every algo it writes.  Thats how they beat known entities as someone with NO known sensor fusion capability.  That's what the algo chefs at QUIK are up to.  Use what you need and put the crucial info into an algo IF it will give the results you need.
